- Use funds, grants, or resources awarded through Africana League solely for their intended community or civic development purposes.
- Refrain from any misrepresentation, manipulation, or unethical conduct when engaging on or off platform.
Any form of fraudulent activity, misuse of funds, or public misconduct may result in removal from the platform and possible public reporting, as outlined in your signed member declaration.
4. Influence Program
Africana League operates an influence reward system. Users who successfully refer another applicant or beneficiary may be eligible for a 10% influence incentive (where applicable), based on the funding or grant received by the referred party. This is subject to validation and internal approval.
5. Content Submission & Intellectual Property
By submitting content (videos, images, reports, designs, captions, etc.) to Africana League, users grant Africana League a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and distribute the content across any media.
Africana League reserves the right to:
- Feature your work even after your exit from the platform.
- Share or reference your contributions in reporting, donor briefs, advocacy, or promotional materials.
- Continue showcasing outstanding or representative content as a testament to civic effort and accountability.
6. Brand and Media Usage
Africana League may use your image, name, work, likeness, or statements in promoting its goals, events, or documentation. This includes:
- Posting content (published or unpublished) submitted or captured during participation.
- Referencing conduct — both commendable or disciplinary — as a matter of transparency and integrity to members, donors, and the public.
All materials produced under or with Africana League, including content created independently but shared for platform engagement, become part of Africana League's media archive and may be used in line with your signed agreement.
7. Website Content & Limitations
All text, images, logos, icons, and other materials displayed on the site are either owned by Africana League or licensed for use. Reproduction without written permission is prohibited.
You agree not to:
- Misuse the site or tamper with its content or security features.
- Share false information through forms, applications, or public submissions.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal data (e.g., full name, email, phone number) submitted to the site is handled with care. We do not share personal information with third parties except:

Africana League shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages that result from the use or inability to use this platform, delays in response, or third-party failures — including external collaborators, developers, or partner institutions.

Africana League reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be published on the site and continued usage signifies acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes will be handled in accordance with applicable Nigerian laws and within its jurisdiction.
